The industrial wireless remote operates any HitchJack without using a phone. It's dedicated wireless connection has longer range than the standard bluetooth connection, and doesn't require an active connection to send commands to the HitchJack like bluetooth does. It comes with a built-in rechargeable battery and a USB-C port for charging. A phone is required to set up the remote to a particular HitchJack, and once done is dedicated to that unit so multiple remotes and HitchJacks can be operated in the same vicinity
